2 here in Cheshire, I actually said to DH 'Oh that's quite good then' as we were expecting to go into 3 with Liverpool. How times have changed, grateful to be in 2 😳

Lulu1919 · 12/10/2020 19:37

1 in Dorset no change

user27378 · 12/10/2020 19:37

3, and I don't think that is fair @IHateCoronavirus I've yet to see anyone not wear a mask in a supermarket or in the school playgrounds. I saw much worse when went on holiday to Wales in August with no mask wearing from other etc. Of course I do know people who aren't following rules but I think there is enough accusations being thrown around that stupid scousers are ignoring advice and have bought it on themselves and I don't think it is true. The numbers rose dramatically when thousands of students arrived en masse.

Unescorted · 12/10/2020 19:38

T1 here but just a couple of miles from T2 in 3 directions...… we missed T2 by the skin of our teeth. I am not sure how they are going to manage all the school kids who travel from T2 areas to ours and vice versa, but hey ho.

Aridane · 12/10/2020 19:40

No idea - apparently will be on gov.uk

Thisyearsucks · 12/10/2020 19:40

I dont think so, as we're not allowed household mixing.
I could be wrong though, that's how I understand it.

DirtyTicket · 12/10/2020 19:40

3 waves to fellow Scousers

Thisyearsucks · 12/10/2020 19:42

@Sunshineandflipflops my above comment was to you. Sorry, I did press the reply button.

Ah well if it helps, I’m not blaming the scousers, but the woolly backs round this way have been taking the mick for months.
terreyyy · 12/10/2020 19:44

I'm in tier 2 (Newcastle )

BlackeyedSusan · 12/10/2020 19:45

T1 just. Just visited a tier 2 area. Two in fact.

Aridane · 12/10/2020 19:45

Sorry - no idea how come I was quoting @Orchidflower1

Ken1976 · 12/10/2020 19:47

I've no idea. What's a tier ?

CarbsafterMarbs · 12/10/2020 19:48

3 Sad

timegoesbysoslowly · 12/10/2020 19:48

2 - am confused if I can see my partner. I live alone and see him on his days off. Don't have parents or friends, so if I can't see him it's going to be a very very lonely winter.

I'm struggling with my MH as it is He's recently changed his job so see him less anyway. I've not really left my house since March, only going to local shops. Plus still coping with my parents deaths.

So understand rules have to change but seems cruel to cut off people who are alone and I hope I've misunderstood.

MarshaBradyo · 12/10/2020 19:49

What’s London?

TeaOneSugar · 12/10/2020 19:52

The social bubbles are still in place as far as I can tell, you count as one household so you're not mixing households.

MileyWiley · 12/10/2020 19:52

@Sunshineandflipflops

Can I just ask those in tier 2 a question please? My partner lives in Notts, so is also tier 2. He lives alone, I live with my 2 kids an hour away. Can I still see him as his support bubble (if he’s not seeing anyone else)? I worry about him being alone as he has mental and physical health issues. I have read conflicting advice around whether support bubbles can still meet indoors as one household so hoping someone else can shed some wisdom!
Yes you can mix. Tier 2 is slightly better than what we have been living with for months here in Greater Manchester. It's no indoor mixing anywhere at all except with those who live in your household and those in your one support bubble. So you can see your partner in your home, but neither you or he can mix indoors with any other households.

Sky have the list

www.google.co.uk/amp/s/news.sky.com/story/amp/how-does-the-three-tier-covid-local-lockdown-system-work-12102497

It doesn't seem to be on the gov website.

RosieLemonade · 12/10/2020 19:54

@timegoesbysoslowly have you social bubbled with him? Then you can.

@DilemmaDerby

Waves at Griffle

Fucking ridiculous as our actual area is lower than some parts of the country in tier 1 😡

I think the calculation has more to do with how much capacity there is in local hospitals than the recorded infection rate.
Parky04 · 12/10/2020 19:54

1 in West Berkshire

whattodo2019 · 12/10/2020 19:56

Tier 1.
In the south. our area still has very few cases and luckily people i know are really abiding by the rules.
