My husband had a test on Friday and was told 48 hours for results, my daughter is off school and I also work in a school with SEN children, so we need to urgently know if he has it. He has a cough but no other symptoms.
We called the call centre number on the gov site to see if they could check it was registered properly.
It took 8 minutes on the call and they must have asked about 50 questions. Everything from the postcode of the test centre to he gender and his exact ethnicity. There were loads more questions and it simply seemed an activity in data gathering!!
The last piece of info she asked for was the test reference number!
I used to work in a call centre so I know they have to ask for lots of identification but this was absolutely ridiculous!
Has anyone else had this?
