We had our first test on Thursday. I realise I forgot to ask them about results. I am assuming they would contact us if any of our tests were positive but how quickly do they come though and do they also confirm negative results?

Yes we had 2 visits but haven’t heard anything for 3 weeks now!

XiCi · 11/10/2020 19:59

You only get contacted for positive results, you will not hear from them if you are negative

Stringervest · 11/10/2020 20:08

After my third visit I got a letter a week later telling me the test was negative.

PseudoBadger · 11/10/2020 20:21

I've signed up but not heard back from them yet

Thanks for your replies. Will assume no news is good news!

DH and I are participating to "do our bit" but the DSs are only in it for the gift vouchers Grin do they arrive at the end of the study?

@PseudoBadger it was a good few weeks between calling to sign up and being contacted for our initial appointment.

Vouchers came by email about 9 days after the test. Went to spam so check there.

Thanks Twig!

We had our tests on Sundays and received our vouchers each week the Thursday after

We’ve completed our first 5 weeks and are now a couple of weeks away from our first monthly test.

Today, for the first time, we received letters with test results in them. They were all negative, and were for tests done on 6th October so clearly no hurry in getting them out to us, and oddly there are only letters for 3 of us, and nothing for the other 3 members of the family.

We had very specifically been told that we wouldn’t get results unless they were negative, and then it would be our GP who would call us. These letters have kind of freaked us out a bit - esp as half of them are missing.

Anyone able to shed any light?!?
