Has anyone else not had any results from a drive through or postal test?

We did the drive through one on Monday 5th at 9am - no results so far. I've rung 119 and chased it up/ escalated it twice now.

In desperation did a second (postal) test which went on Thursday. Royal mail tracker shows it arrived at the test centre on Friday morning. Still no results.

How can we have no results from both tests? One I could understand but not both.

Without a test result all we can do is keep isolating - my son for 10 days from the start of the symptoms, and me and my husband the full 14 days. Without a negative result we can't go back to work sooner. I'm a teacher and this is a nightmare for me!

If it was positive then there's a whole load of kids in my sons class who should also have been isolating but haven't.

I didn't get my results but haven't done a second test.
Arrived at Glasgow on 4th.
It pisses me off I'm convincing myself it is covid because it's all I'm thinking about!

My son had to do one a few weeks ago at a drive through centre. It was so badly organised there and they didn't seem to know what they were doing. I actually said to my DP it will be a miracle if we get the results. We waited 4 days and they didn't appear so like you we did another test as it was still in the symptom window. My DPs work were on his back to get back to work. We got those results the next day but the original test results never appeared
