Child not SI

Currently have 2 of my children self isolating due to cases in their schools - they have not left the house or even gone in our garden.

Couple next door both have had positive tests and are supposed to be self isolating ( overheard conversation with neighbours other side)

Their daughter is currently playing out the front of the house with other children on our road - parents think it's ok as children can't pass it on apparently. My son same age (8) can't see why he has to stay in when none of us have it and she is allowed out when her parents have it.

Makes you wonder what is the point in having rules 🤬

I'm generally of a libertarian viewpoint but after seeing how you can't even give people an inch without them taking a mile, I'm now quite sympathetic with the way that the Chinese government have been welding people's front doors shut.

Totally unforgivable given that the parents have a positive test. They are probably sending her into school as well?

So frustrating.

Are they just really stupid or do they not care?

Realitea · 11/10/2020 16:04

This sort of crap is why it's spreading.

Police. Now.
Recklessly endangering public health deserves a large fine so get it reported.

Your neighbours are being stupid but you do know your kids are allowed to go in your garden don’t you?!?

practicallyperfectwithprosecco · 11/10/2020 18:12

DD1 is nearly 17 and has no desire to play in garden 😂 she wants to see her boyfriend but is happy in her room with FaceTime and social media

Youngest would go out except weather has been awful and building work has turned our back garden to a muddy mess. He has his Xbox for company for another week
