What does shielding mean exactly these days?

I think I week confused what the different terms mean. I received a flu jab letter that said I was getting it because I am shielding. I am definitely clinically vulnerable not on the extremely clinically vulnerable list.

But work's covid safety assessment form says I should be in the office.

You should have been getting the flu jab anyway.

In regards to shielding it is paused. You just need to be aware of any local lockdown restrictions in your area.

Shielding was only for the extremely clinically vulnerable. Shielding is currently paused and people who were shielding have been told it’s fine to go to covid secure work places but the must strictly follow 1m+ rule.

Thanks that clears it up. Just a typo on the flu jab form.
