Test & trace date?

I’ve been asked to isolate until 12th October. Does that mean I return to work on the 12th or go back on 13th?

I think the last day of isolation is the 12th

That’s how I understood it too that I must isolate on the 12th too & return on 13th. However my manager said 12th means I can return
