Clothing spray

My hairdresser has this product that they mist over clients on entry, which is safe for clothing. I assume it’s probably antibacterial, unsure if antiviral.

Wondering whether to buy some myself to use after travelling on trains - most of my coats are dry clean only so I can’t frequently wash them without ruining them!

Does anyone own something similar and have any recommendations?

Would also like to know - only wash DC blazer once a week and would like to blast some of the germs off at the end of the day (not just CV, noro too, which is still around after 6 months of lockdown, the virus that never dies apparently Hmm)

I use this on coats and shoes etc when people come in the house, gives me peace of mind

Frappuccinofan · 07/10/2020 15:21

@lookslikeacorpse which one do you use?

oops, mean the Dettol spray for bacteria and viruses

HairyFloppins · 07/10/2020 15:23

I spray my kids with Dettol spray when they get in through the door. It smells like fresh linen.

Thank you both! None of the shops I just visited had it in stock annoyingly. Seems pretty elusive!

Febreze have just brought out a new anti bacterial spray and also Fabulosa do a disinfectant spray that's specifically for clothes

Madonnawiththebigboobies · 07/10/2020 18:17

I second the fabulosa spray . I got mine from lidl around 99p iirc . Different fragrances more perfume/ aftershave like as opposed to a cleaning smell. designed especially for clothes .

Oops aldi not lidl

@Madonnawiththebigboobies I got mine from Aldi too the yellow one smells quite sweet like vanilla

Madonnawiththebigboobies · 07/10/2020 18:28

I got a black one and a white one .

BashfulClam · 07/10/2020 20:23

I use dettol spray and wear.

Littleguggi · 07/10/2020 21:38

Dettol spray, goes right up my nose though and the smell chokes me! Not sure it's specifically for clothing, but says for upholstery, furniture, door handles etc.
