DD 3 is self isolating after an outbreak of covid in her nursery. We do not need to self isolate unless she develops symptoms, she is isolating as a close contact however I know symptoms can be different in toddlers. On the whole she's fine, but has coughed a couple of times but it sounds quite a chesty cough not dry. No temperature I've been checking all our temps twice a day to be sure. I'm staying in with her and not going out but DP has been going to work. He managed quite a large team and it would cause a lot of issues if he wasn't there but he can't work from home.
I don't want to test her unless it's really necessary but at the same time can't have DP going out if he shouldn't be.
Would you test her for an occasional cough? From what we've been told there are multiple positive cases in her nursery not just one.
