Any more update on a half term extension in England?

There were rumblings a few weeks ago about adding on a week to half term to break the corona chain. Has anything more been said about this on school boards or behind the scenes? I know there are people in the know on here

Most parents I know work so this would be hugely disruptive, they can't afford to take unpaid leave so will use childcare, mixing even more settings and costing money they cannot afford.

Was this actually ever anything more than a hopeful/fearful rumour though? None of the many teachers (including a few headteachers) I know and work with have e heard anything from any official sources about it.
