Are you socially distancing at work?

My workplace has been operating throughout the pandemic. A series of Covid-safe directives, briefings and equipment have been put in place and everyone is now working in a "Covid-secure" environment.

However, I have had to send six people home to self-isolate this week as it turns out that despite the measures put in place, the staff at this site weren't following them. They were all within 2m of the person who tested positive for more than 15mins without PPE and now have to go home.
When I have spoken to other teams they seemed to think the same would happen if there was an outbreak at their locations because people aren't following the rules because "it's just not practical."

So I guess the question I'm asking is, if you are at work, would you have to isolate if one of your colleagues tested positive? Can you honestly say you all keep your distance from one another? I feel like no matter what guidelines and rules we put in place our teams will struggle to maintain a safe distance at all times.

Mine has been really good. No pressure to go back to the office but you can if you want, and a few people do. I do one day a week, occasionally two, just to get me out of the house. When I'm there I barely interact with anyone as there's so few people and we have our own offices.

No, it's simply not practical or possible in my workplace.
