App message - possible Covid exposure

Today I had an alert pop up on my phone relating to the NHS app reading ‘possible Covid 19 exposure the app has accessed the date, duration and signal strength of this exposure.’ The message took me to the app where there was no further information. I’ve since read the NHS app frequently asked questions and know I don’t need to do anything unless it tells me to self isolate. My question is those who have received a message like this and were then asked to self isolate how long was there between messages? Feeling in limbo and frustrated that there is this glitch in the app causing potentially unnecessary stress.

I had the same today, it's apparently just the Bluetooth data on your phone synching with something or other to see if there are any matches. No need to do anything

Other than eat biscuits but that's my excuse 🤣

I had this a week or so ago. Heard nothing else 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had this a few days ago but couldn't
find any info. Submitted a question about it online but heard nothing back.

I had this today too. When I clicked on the message it disappeared. A glitch I understand.

Phew that’s a relief thank you for your replies. @fudgecat love the eating biscuits comment 🤣.

Do nothing, it means it’s scanning and assessing as it should, but unless you have something within the app itself you can carry on as normal.
