This was just tweeted by Tory Fibs, it was from a few days ago but not seen any mention of it on here. Makes interesting reading.

No reason not to post again though, get as many people to read it as possible!

Well what a shocker that is. People who are most often asymptomatic, active in the community and stuck in rooms with other people all day are key to the disease spreading. It’s baffling.

It seems to be mostly about spread within households, for which it should be unsurprising as children will typically receive significantly more in the way of close contact than adults living together who are not in a romantic relationship.

Must of missed it, I look at the daily numbers thread occasionally but can be a bit easy to miss stuff with lots of information posted there.

Indeed, but you get so many people saying things like there’s not a single example of any child anywhere in the world giving it to their teacher or that those who are asymptomatic rarely pass on the infection.

Yes, it's weird that this huge study, led by a very reputable university and peer reviewed, has received little attention in the press.

It is unreal. You just have to compare what is happening here to what is happening in other countries to see what a shambles it is.
