Is anyone waiting for test results?

I posted my DD home test on Thursday it arrived in Glasgow on Friday at 10am. I hope I get a result before tomorrow. My DD has had 9 days of school in September. I want her back in tomorrow, but I don't think we'll hear from them today. Is anyone else going through this?

I am. We got the test done yesterday but my mum just reminder me because it's the weekend it might take longer. ( she had test middle of the week and it took just under 24 hours for result)

Yes, DD1 had a drive through test 23 hours ago so results could be any time but hoping before 8am tomorrow (that would be 42 hours post test) so I can go to work!

My other DD had a home test a couple of weeks ago- got result 56ish hours after test was received in Glasgow.

Me. Hope it’s not a long wait for you and others who are waiting!

We were tested at a walk in centre in London on Thursday morning. My partner received his test result ~22 hours later on Friday. I'm still waiting. Not sure whether to bother 119/whether they can do anything anyway. I hope your DD gets her result soon!

Exactly the same as you OP. Test taken and posted on Thursday, arrived Friday morning in Glasgow. Not feeling confident that it'll be today now.

Cassie71 · 04/10/2020 17:49

Waiting here for DDs result. I found it impossible to book anything, so had to use my sisters postcode and drive past the mobile site in Tottenham and go all the way to Chelmsford.

She had the test 11am yesterday, I'm hoping I hear by tomorrow. Most of her class are getting positive results.

If someone in your house has had the test does everyone in your household need to isolate while you wait for the results?

TheVeryHungryTortoise · 04/10/2020 21:25

@SpecialchildSupermum Yes, if someone in your household exhibits symptoms you all need to self isolate until the negative test result.

SpecialchildSupermum · 05/10/2020 00:00

@TheVeryHungryTortoise - thank you for telling me
