How long did it take to get test results?

If you booked a covid test via the government website or 119 and went to a drive-in test centre in the last couple of weeks, how long did it take before your results came through?

6pm test. Results 6pm next day.

Waiting here for the results of a test from 6pm last night and it seems eternal!

Tested lunch time Tuesday, still waiting. I hope you have better luck than we have had. I am slowly going insane!

I had a test Thursday morning and got my result today - 48 hrs.

I had a test yesterday morning at 10.30am. I’m still waiting also and feeling very on edge. Can’t imagine I will hear until tomorrow though. Good luck with your results!

I had a test at drive through centre at 4.30 Tuesday afternoon and got the (negative) result at 9.10 yesterday (Friday) evening. I think I was unlucky as most people I know have had results within 48 hrs. The wait was excruciating though.

Mmm, quite variable then.
They said 24-48 hours so I was hoping it might be today, but looks unlikely. I must try to stop thinking about it constantly!

I hope those of you still waiting I feel your pain and hope you get your (negative) results very soon.

Tested Monday morning. Nothing back yet.

curious how long it is taking in london. Went to walk in centre this afternoon for DS and now anxiously awaiting the results. It hasn't even by 6 hours and i'm biting my nails

Tested monday nothing back yet

DS was tested yesterday at 08:30. We’re still waiting for his results.

Tested Wednesday and still nothing. We had to do ours postal though as no center near us unless I drove 80 miles.

Results just in after 11am test at drive through yesterday so approx 34 hours later.

38 hours since the test. Still no results

4 days!

Test at 12.30 Wed, results 5am Thursday morning

2 of us were tested, one weds and one Thurs, both results came in 30 hours

It’s interesting to the differences in processing time.

Double good news here- results came back at 9pm and they were negative! So 27 hours from test to result here.

Just over 24 hours here. Went to a walk in test centre. Positive result.

Took my mum a week to get her home test results back a few weeks ago. Was negative.

Negative result at 06:30 this morning. It took 46 hours. Which seemed like a really long time.

Are these all for London?

Still waiting, it's been 48 hours.
