Hotel stay allowed or not?

We are booked into a hotel next weekend in Blackpool and live in one of the north west lockdown areas. I can't find anywhere if we are allowed to travel to the hotel. I'm thinking we can't but all I can find is that we are following the North East rules and there is says holidays are still allowed as long it is the same household. Do I cancel or still go?

Holidays are allowed provided you don’t mix households

I also believe the answer is yes you can go, provided you don't mix households. Hope so because we are also going away!

I was told that so long as it was booked pre local lockdown and you’re staying in your household then you can go. We’re due to go away in a couple of weeks for one night and I’m not sure if it’ll happen.

Depends where you live. I'm in north Wales in local lockdown and not allowed to leave the county (Denbighshire) without good reason, but people in lockdown areas in England are allowed to come and climb Snowden this weekend, but I'm not

Were in Merseyside and it was precooked before the rules changed again. I'm just confused as it says non essential travel is advised against. My booking still stands though Hmm its for my lg birthday and as she can't have a party or see family I will be gutted if we have to cancel.
