Feeling Low

Just that really. Feeling really low today. Tried to go and do some Christmas stocking shopping but the shop was full of people either not wearing masks, wearing them incorrectly or generally not being socially distant. Ended up leaving as wasn’t pleasant.
I’m really missing normal life today, where you can pop to the shops and it not be a massive faff or worry.
Seems like such a trivial thing but has added to me feeling pretty fed up.
I’ve been trying to be as normal as possible (whilst keeping safe) but nothing feels pleasurable. I was loving walks and outside picnics after lockdown but it feels like a chore now.
Anyone feeling the same?

Yep I went to the supermarket for a few bits today and it made me very sad. All the 'normal' things not looking normal, remembering what it was like to just pop into places. Generally I'm fairly resigned to the whole thing so I don't know what was different about today.

100% I'm having a high anxiety week. Just want some certainty and this nightmare to be over Thanks

Agreed. I know these restrictions are necessary. But I feel like I've hit a wall today. I wish I could see more of my friends and family. I know these feelings come in waves and I will feel better in a few days.

It’s good to hear I’m not the only one. @BeeePeee I agree the beginning of the week I was feeling ok but I just feel so ground down by it today
