Shop staff and masks

Been in a few shops now and staff have either not been wearing one or wearing it on their chin, is it mandatory for shop staff now or did I get that wrong?

Yes. They became mandatory from Monday 28th September.

I was in my local primark and the lady serving me on the tills had hers on her chin as did the other one on the till next to her Confused
