Protect Scotland app

Has anyone with the Protect Scotland app received the exposure logging notification weekly update? I got a notification saying “your device identified 1 potential exposure this week, and shared it with Protect-Scot.”
Does this mean somebody I’ve been in close contact with has tested positive? From looking at the Protect Scotland website this isn’t an official message and is auto generated by Apple.

I am not sure if it is just notifying me that my phones Bluetooth has picked up close contact with other phones? I live alone and wfh but was in a restaurant once this week so my phone would have pinged against other phones? Thus is the only time in the last few weeks I’ve been around others for a prolonged time period.

I am very worried as I am in an extended household with my elderly mum and also provide some care for her (she refuses external help) she doesn’t have a mobile phone never mind the app so obviously wouldn’t get any notifications.

I haven't received any notifications from the app and have had it installed a number of weeks. Someone at work mentioned that if you live in a flat and one of your neighbours tests positive it can alert you even though you may have had no contact with them.

1 just got the same notification, any more info on what it means? I got a notifications couple of eeeks ago and it said zero that time.

I have the app and the only notifications I have got are ones saying "exposure notifications are on for Protect Scotland app". About once a week, I think.

Wouldn't that be saying that a contact of someone you have contact with has tested positive. So it's potential but you'd have to watch out the person who is your contact didn't show symptoms. If no one you know does then it's irrelevant

I found out on a thread on Scotsnet that you can check the exposure log on your phone (Apple phones) so l did that and the log from when l was in a restaurant on Wednesday shows “match key count: 1” so l’m not sure if this means somebody in the restaurant has tested positive?

I got the notification 36hours after visiting the restaurant which seems a quick turnaround for someone who was there on Wednesday night to have symptoms, test positive and log it in the app? I really don’t know if l should be isolating now? Anyone know how long it takes Track and trace to contact you? I scanned in to the restaurant on track and trace.

You get an actual message/text if you've been in close contact with someone who has tested positive
