The girl who sits next to my daughter in school has not turned up today-a day they were taking class photographs so has to be something serious.

I’m shitting myself thinking this is it..couple of weeks back my daughter had the cough cold which was doing the rounds and I was so stressed initially thinking that it was COVID...now this! I feel on the edge all the time..

So was your daughter tested at the time or did your keep her off? Perhaps she spread it to her fellow pupil who is now off poorly.

My daughter was kept off school for a week. What she had was a viral wheeze for which she has an inhaler. But we didn’t want her to go to school when her immune system was fighting something off.
Unlikely she’s passed on as a). She had a wheeze b). My daughter was off two weeks back

If your daughter had a cough then she should have had a test!

The little girl could be off for many reasons, try not to worry.

It flares up and then when you take the inhaler she’s fine...we checked with the gp and he confirmed it
