I find it very bizarre nothings been lraked given that was their main way of sharing information it seemed/gauging public opinion.

Maybe its not a big deal at all and just facts and figures!?

It will be an announcement from Boris telling us we've reached a shitty or no deal agreement with the EU, greatly to the detriment of all of us. Then hand over to doom and gloom to put it all in perspective in the hope we'll all forget we're doomed from January regardless of Covid.

Gosh, don't get my hopes up! I can't dare to imagine a press conference where BJ says we have bought enough vaccines for everyone and we have a plan to get everyone in the country vaccinated in the next few weeks. Yesterday, the reality was a news story that the UK didn't even have enough storage capacity for the first batch of however million doses

On the BBC lunchtime news they’ve just said that Boris is not expected to announce any new measures. Whether he always does what is expected is another matter...

I presumed he’ll just be proving he understands his party’s new local lockdown restriction rules, which I’m not sure he actually does.

He'll mention the vaccine to offer something positive. This will be followed by some more restrictions. It always happens.

I wonder if it will be bringing England into line with Scotland by banning mixing of households inside. I think it will be a tweaking of the existing restrictions to be tighter, but not in terms of more lockdown just removing glaring inconsistencies like this. Maybe also tweaking rule of 6 (children exempt?).
Something more consistent with Scotland but several weeks after Nicola Sturgeon said it so that it doesn't look like he is copying her.

Maybe laying the grounds for the blame game?

(whether setting up,the public as the fall guys or the science guys)

Wonder if journalists will be allowed to ask questions or whether BJ needs to keep in script and cannot be allowed to deviate without appearing to be more of a bumbling buffoon than usual
