There was a lot more fanfare about Boris "addressing the nation" last week. And that didnt make a lot of difference to many people (pubs close earlier, weddings 15...)

I had been expecting a much harsher lockdown after Mondays speeches and the way BJs "addressing the nation" had been bigged up.

This isnt at all publicised. It really cant be much.

If there’s any further restrictions he’ll need to announce them to the house before this. The speaker has already had words about announcing things via the media before updating parliament

On the BBC lunchtime news they’ve just said that Boris is not expected to announce any new measures. Whether he always does what is expected is another matter...

LBC are certain it is happening, saying they are going to be covering it.

I worry that they are rolling out BJ and the 2 chief medical/scientific officers. It won't be for no reason.

Will they lockdown for 2 weeks over half-term? 2 weeks before Christmas?

Strange that no clues about the content has been leaked to the media like normal.
