Its becoming increasingly apparent that you are supposed to be defying the heavy handed covid restrictions at this point.
Boris is probably rubbing his hands with glee.
Restrictions will be lifted because 'you demanded it/defied them' and covid will just be allowed to run amok; cue herd immunity.

If the vulnerable die it will be nothing to do with safeguarding the economy of course, no it will be entirely the fault of the public rebelling against the imposed restrictions.

Ergo, no blame for Boris.

Fait accompli 👌

Riiiight, where on earth do you get that idea from?

Look at the Cambridge Analytica scandal.
Government have psychological profilers who can pinpoint when the public will reach saturation point. This was weeks if not months ago.

So pushing hard tactics is entirely designed to promote a backlash that gets them off the figurative hook

Its so obvious that its embarrassing.

Randox testing kits were recalled over the summer so that positive cases were artificially depressed.
Come september testing becomes widespread, hence the uptick in cases, heavy handed lockdown measures, public revolt and the upcomimg relaxation at the behest of the public so that the economy can boom over christmas.

Of course people will die but hey ho, thats what the public wanted will be the narrative
