Quick question if you’ve tested positive

If you were emailed with a positive result, did your email from the nhs give the date of your test?

If you showed someone the email would they know when the test was taken?

Well the email has the date it was sent showing on it so the date you got the result will be clear to see. It doesn't show the actual test date though.

That's how negative results are sent anyway. I haven't seen a positive result but I assume it's the same format.

Lindy, thanks for replying. if you took a screenshot of the result rather than forwarding the email would the date still be visible within the message itself?

No it doesn't mention the date. It could be from any date, it's just the email which is dated. I can see where this is going.....

Sorry ignore me, I too have only a negative one but would assume it would be same format as positive. Tbf think it's a failing not to include date....

Here is my positive result from June. Not my email but my text and no it doesn't give the date of the test.

I have seen the positive result (text not email however) for a colleague and there was no test date listed.
