Self isolation and pay...

Hi everyone. I had a test yesterday so am now self isolating, my manager told me today I will get statutory sick pay. Seems a bit unfair to me, can anyone shed any light please?

Yes that is the law, unless your workplace chooses to put it up

@ivykaty44 only applies to people who claim Universal Credit or Working Tax Credit though, so great for them but doesn’t help most of us

It’s also basically the same as statutory sick pay anyway
