Self isolation and pay...

Hi everyone. I had a test yesterday so am now self isolating, my manager told me today I will get statutory sick pay. Seems a bit unfair to me, can anyone shed any light please?

@ivykaty44 only applies to people who claim Universal Credit or Working Tax Credit though, so great for them but doesn’t help most of us
