Hi. My sister And her oh have 2 young children age 3 and 2. The 2yo was sent home from nursery with a temp and so they all isolated until they could get a test. This was 2 weeks ago. My sister and her oh were off work for 3 days until the results came back negative. Now the 3 yo has a temp. He had his Pre-school injections the other day so it’s looking likely to be from that but my sister doesn’t think they need to isolate again and get another test and our mum can look after the 3 yo until the temp Goes back down. I would have thought they’d have to test again although I understand it’s difficult to isolate and be off work again so soon for a few days. Can anyone advise what they should do? Thanks

They are meant to isolate and test. Can see why people with young kids are getting worried about doing so repeatedly though, I am!

Isolate and test. It's unfortunate that they have not long came out of isolation for other child. This is going to be situation for many families.

Thank you. I thought the same. It’s going to be a recurring theme isn’t it. Nightmare job wise
