How many cases per 100,000 in your area?

I have become slightly obsessed about checking the figures in my area each day. We have 7 per 100,000 which I think is pretty low. What are the numbers where you live?

Ours has gone up to 92 from 35 last week. First confirmed case at DS's school, thankfully not in his bubble.

Muchtoomuchtodo · 07/10/2020 16:53

43 here (vale of Glamorgan)and falling over the last few days

We’ve had increased lockdown measured for the last 10 days. We’re surrounded by areas with much higher rates so their lockdowns seem to have affected us too

Scarby9 · 07/10/2020 17:00

44 where I live. 46 where I work. My parents are over 250, and my brother under 10!

According to the BBC, we're at 229/100k. That's some difference over covid messenger that says 177.

  1. Not far from Liverpool. I’m expecting it to go up even higher.

60 in my area of Wales and we're in local lockdown. Ridiculous.

HoldMyLobster · 08/10/2020 03:55

My US state is averaging around 18/100k at the moment. Schools and universities went back a month ago with no spike in cases since then.

Test positivity rate is 0.5%.

Think I might just stay put for now.

beenrumbled · 08/10/2020 07:57

240 now -still going up

DontDribbleOnTheCarpet · 08/10/2020 09:03

I live on South Uist, in the Western Isles. South Uist has a population of roughly 1800. There are currently 45 cases of Covid-19, and that number is rising daily

To be honest, I'm a bit scared to work out what that is per 100,000.

mrshoho · 08/10/2020 09:05

78 per 100000. Doubled over 7 days.

SeekingAnswers3 · 08/10/2020 09:46

About 50

Squiz81 · 08/10/2020 09:57

13 that has risen from 4 in a week, but still very low compared to a lot of you. I’m in the South East
