How many cases per 100,000 in your area?

Florabella · 27/09/2020 17:44

I have become slightly obsessed about checking the figures in my area each day. We have 7 per 100,000 which I think is pretty low. What are the numbers where you live?

How many cases per 100,000 in your area?
BengalGal · 28/09/2020 22:16

@Tommo75 you are 167 per 100,000. The higher number is the total new cases. Still very high though .

CurlyhairedAssassin · 28/09/2020 22:17

@Tommo75, I think we're talking the number of cases per 100,000?

BengalGal · 28/09/2020 22:17

@QueenOllie I think you are seeing the total new cases and not the per 100,000 people.

Tommo75 · 28/09/2020 22:21

Thanks @Bengalgal and @curlyhairedassassin. Not great but I definitely misread it Blush

Bellyfat · 28/09/2020 22:22

18 (+10 from last week)

Ginogineli · 28/09/2020 22:25

Couple here are posting overall cases per 100,000 not the rates last 7 days

No1 now is Knowsley at 280

Liverpool is 263

All others are rates overall since March

My area is 980 at that date

QueenOllie · 28/09/2020 22:26

Thanks @BengalGal it's not the clearest!

QueenOllie · 28/09/2020 22:28

Ah ha

How many cases per 100,000 in your area?
Shewhomustbeobeyed1 · 28/09/2020 22:32

None. At the moment. I’m a Brit living in SYD.
No one is bolshy about apps or QR codes, people follow the guidelines and are relaxed (ie they don’t mind doing it) about signing into venues etc. Because it makes sense.
State borders are beginning to open again so let’s keep our finger crossed it continues... it can be done if everyone is sensible Grin

Threeisnotacrowd · 28/09/2020 23:13

Jeez people.

These numbers mean NOTHING until everywhere has the same standard and static testing regimes. That’s a million miles away from happening

Chill out

RufustheSniggeringReindeer · 28/09/2020 23:15

Chill out

Ill admit i havent read all of the thread

But how can typing a number not be ‘chill’

Merryweather80 · 28/09/2020 23:29

33- an increase if 21 in our tiny area. Very elderly population.
I was in the shielded group so I check regularly.
I have a feeling we should be shielding really, with cased rising as they are.
