Just wondering how quickly contacts of a positive covid case should be contacted and advised to isolate?
Colleague of mine tested positive last night and has, thankfully, contacted me herself but so far not been contacted by anyone advising me to self isolate. We work in a job where social distancing isn't possible and so I definitely need to isolate, however had she not had my number and with it being the weekend I would still be none the wiser and would normally have visited my shielding and vulnerable parents this afternoon and probably popped to the shops etc. Surely I should have been contacted more promptly than this otherwise I could be out and about all day possibly spreading the virus
