To get a test or not?

I have a cough, chest feels a bit odd. Not coughing a lot but it's becoming more frequent. Had a horrid headache and low temp yesterday evening but it's gone today. No other symptoms.

I'm a waitress so see 100+ people a day. Had a customer cough in my face on Monday. Yesterday someone screamed at me because they wanted the door shut and ended up spitting at me. It landed on the floor next to me but I still washed my face and hands and put a fresh mask on.

I dunno if I'm just being paranoid. Obviously before I'd just assume it was a run of the mill cough because of the time of year.

Yes...

You’re not supposed to wait until you think you have Covid to go get a test, it’s not about being paranoid - it’s to rule it out or confirm it so that you know whether you need to self isolate or not.

Remember you don't need all 3 symptoms any of them and you should take a test.

If a cougg isn't usual for you, then I'd test. The people I know who are testing positive, me included, aren't getting the symptom list.

The cough is why btw, you’re supposed to test for any of the 3 symptoms not wait for all of them.
