How far for a test?

How far have you travelled or would you travel to get a test?

DS has a cold/temp so needs a test. There was nothing available first thing but I have just had another look and was offered a test centre just over an hour away. DS is feeling rubbish and we could really do without a 2 hour trip in the car. I am hoping for something nearer so will keep trying.

Wondering what others experiences are.

We drove 57 miles on Tuesday for a test, would have been 30 but there are road closures in the area with a massive diversion route! So we did a 114 miles round trip - worth it though as the test results were back within 24 hrs, we would have had to wait much longer for postal results.

After trying all day I was able to book one this evening for tomorrow just 12 miles away, Definitely worth keep trying.

Have been trying since yesterday afternoon. Kept getting offered one seventy miles away. Finally got one 45 miles away for tomorrow.
