So much worry and anxiety at the moment. Would any people who have been tested positive recently and only had it mildly like to share their stories.

OP posts:

How are you now @dontbelieveboris ? I got it from a friend who asked my to babysit her newborn and now DH and DD also have it. Very mild so far (9 days post exposure) but felt off/weird/everything others are saying for 2-3 days over the weekend.

Someone I went to school with (so my age, 32) has it now. Headaches, muscle aches and tiredness. None of the main symptoms so far. Feels rough but is a single parent and managing to look after her 2 kids. Not bed bound.

This thread has made me feel a bit better. Thanks OP.
Friend of a friend has it, loss of taste/smell - no other symptoms, children tested positive (she got them checked for school) and they have no symptoms whatsoever

BradleyCooperwillbemine · 08/10/2020 17:19

I've just had it. Husband and son showing no symptoms. I just felt a bit meh - bit like waiting for a cold to come out. Lost my sense of smell for about a week, but it seems to have come back.

Love the thread OP, and @Jrobhatch29 for keeping it on the rails! I recently posted asking for positive recovery stories as hadn't seen this yet.

These are getting me through my current COVID infested state!

My bro in law had it in March and said he felt like he was a bit hungover for a few days but has had worst colds. He wasn’t tested at the time but since has had a positive antibody year. His girlfriend had a positive antibody test and no symptoms.

They both work for the NHS which is why they had antibody tests

Heartbroken21 · 10/10/2020 18:20

98 years old grandfather tested positive for antibodies. He had a cough and off his food for a couple of weeks. There wasn’t any testing at the time and we thought we were losing him to old age but he recovered and is fine now.
As a person in the risk group, it eased my anxiety a great deal.
