Hi,

If you have to quarantine after a holiday can grandparents still provide childcare so you can wfh? I know they are exempt from local lockdown rules but can’t find anything on this?

I can’t imagine this is allowed .

wingingit987 · 23/09/2020 18:16

I would say no. If your self isolating after returning from abroad you should not be leaving your home and no one else she be entering your home.

SoUtterlyGroundDown · 23/09/2020 18:17

I suppose if they moved in with you and quarantined with you for the entirety... otherwise no. The point of quarantine is that you don’t see anyone or go anywhere.

ScubaSteven · 23/09/2020 18:17

Did the children go on holiday too?

Racoonworld · 23/09/2020 18:48

No, unless they live with you. You shouldn’t be going away unless you can quarantine properly.

Grapefruitcauliflower · 23/09/2020 20:42

No, of course not! Unless you all went on holiday together and live together. The guidelines on this really are very clear.

PaddyF0dder · 23/09/2020 20:46

No.

That’s what happens when you choose to go on holiday in a pandemic.

DamitJanet · 23/09/2020 20:52

No, that’s not quarantine

Pickagoddamnname · 23/09/2020 21:04

Jeez!! Of course not. It’s quarantine. You all stay in together, no one else comes in. You don’t go anywhere.
