Wales - please can someone explain?

My children's father lives in Swansea and he is due to have contact with them this weekend.

Can someone please explain, if he 2 kids at home, his wife and is part of a support bubble with his brother who also has 2 children (meaning that's 7 of them in the bubble before my kids go there) is that permitted?

ExH says in Wales children under 12 don't count in the rule of 6?

Sorry for being thick, just can't find exact answer on the info pages.

He is right, children under 12 don’t count on the six in Wales. And households of more than six don’t have to choose who moves out! Your dc is counted as part of his household (as well as yours) and children can move between their two homes

yes thats right children under 12 dont have to social distance in wales and therefore dont count as part of the group of 6

I'm in Wales and agree with the posters above. I've seen the guidance for the locally locked down areas this morning (Swansea isn't one) and that says:

You can continue existing arrangements for access and contact if you share parental responsibility for your child with another person

So given Swansea is in a less restricted area I think it's fine
