Ds has slight sore throat upon waking this morning
Checked temp all fine no cough or loss of taste etc
Spoke to school they said he can go in, but he does a team sport tonight and in there list of potential symptoms it has sore throat ??
I mean I an happy not to send him for sport tonight but doesn't state wether i can't send him for 2 weeks
How can one place say its ok and the other not
I visited a place as well recently and had to fill a form in which also questioned wether i had a sore throat ?
Should I of kept him home - he is perfectly well and was only a little sore upon waking might even disappear as day goes on as might of been sleeping with his mouth open
But sore throat isn't on list and i wouldn't be able to get a test on that alone

Send him to school.

Ask the spirt what their policy is for how long he has to miss for having a sore throat.

He doesn’t need a test at the moment.

Yes he has gone in I have told him if he starts to feel hot or cough he puts his mask on and asks to come home
I honestly think by time he comes home it will be gone as he sleeps with his mouth open
Also contacted the sport to try and find out but I have read all their guidelines and its sketchy in this
Leaves us all so confused , whilst trying to do whats best

It’s very difficult, my daughter is on a work placement at a Nursery and parents are taking children in that are obviously unwell even though they’re working at home. It’s not fair on the staff who only qualify for statutory sick pay. Keeping her off for the moment, what ever it is can be passed on and will only add to the confusion so I think that’s the best thing to do.
