A national suicide note

Based on distorted and untrue evidence, much like happens with mental illness

He looks extremely tired and that green sofa behind him looks terribly uncomfortable.

From what he said, I think London will be locked down in a week or so.

Well I hope we are all feeling inspired! Grin

He basically didn't say a lot that wasn't leaked about 2 days ago. I've got eye-rolling-itis! 😂

Nonsense words you use in an essay to try and reach a word count.

Did nobody tell him that pointless waffling increases the risk of spreading the virus?

Oh my god my eyes actually hurt from all the eye rolling. I cannot listen to that man talk, he is just unbearable.

That's why I turned to this thread instead of listening to him.
Figured I'd get the gist especially if there's nothing that wasn't reported earlier

Far better to listen to Nicola Sturgeon.

Is it just us, or did others hear something rumble at the end? Like a tummy rumble? ... or letting something rip? In the last minute or at the end.

Not joking. OH heard it too. Definitely seemed to come from the TV.

It’s easy to carp, and I’ve been critical of him and the Government in recent months, but actually I thought his speech was decent.

All this bravado trying to act like Churchill. He doesn't look very well does he?
Cannot see the country getting together like last time.

Boris has the air of how I imagine the PM in Harry Potter would be when the Ministry rock up to tell him about the existence of dangerous wizards

My winner of the thread!

Nicola Sturgeon sounds much more statesmanlike, although that’s not hard when you’re being compared to Bojo.

Basically saying there, schools are on the table to close (not completely off the table as promised). There is the possibility that your child’s education will be put at risk. This time though, it’s all your fault you naughty rule breakers. Absolutely fuck all to do with the the test system collapsing, we aren’t prioritising teachers and their families for tests, oh and every one in education warned us. I’d laugh if it wasn’t so crap.

@YoBeaches

Do you reckon he's watching this himself, at home, with a muslin on his shoulder, winding the baby....

Or as DH said more likely down the boys club in the House of Lords having a whiskey.

If the rumours that went around a few weeks ago are true he’s more likely to be holed up in a hotel room somewhere waiting for someone to turn up and play the violin for him!
