I feel a bit weird

I looked about my baby granddaughter for the day yesterday. Took her home at 6pm and got home for 6:30pm. I felt utterly exhausted when I got home (and she’s the easiest baby going). I felt so exhausted I felt like I’d just got home from holiday. I went to bed at 10pm. Straight to sleep. Woke up at 5:30am feeling absolutely shattered. Barely able to function type shattered. By the afternoon by throat was hurting a bit and I had a headache. Now my ears have gone funny, like I’m on an aeroplane. I’m also getting random mild tingling sensations in my legs. DH has just said his ears are going funny and he feels a bit hot. Neither of us have a cough. We’re both working and having to mingle every day.

Does this sound anything remotely similar to Covid symptoms?

Only the hot (potential fever). Have you taken your temperature? It actually sounds more like the flu

Fatigue, headache and sore throat (as well as fever) are all symptoms commonly reported for Covid, so I certainly don't think you can rule it out.

Quite possibly, even if not the 3 official symptoms... could you let your daughter/son know so they’re aware to look out for granddaughter?

Hopefully it will come to nothing Brew

Even without Covid how are you able to go to work with these symptoms. Just rest for 2 or 3 days in isolation. How is the baby doing.

There's a chart in this - it's all a bit confusing to read, but may answer some of your concerns?
