Local lockdown and shielding

Apparently BJ has said that those who are in local lockdown areas should shield? Did anyone hear this?

I'm in one of the places in the NE that are in local lockdown and was in the official shielding groups during lockdown.

Yes, they’ve said that today and on a number of other occasions. But not every lockdown area mentions any guidance for the exceptionally vulnerable.

That is wrong, we should not be an after-thought, and all local restrictions should mention whether those who shielded should take additional precautions

I was glad to hear when we were included in the main announcement.

He did seem to say it, but it wasn't very clear.

I was watching and heard him say the word shielding but nothing clear about it.

I wonder if it will be mentioned at 8pm.

He said no recall to shielding at the moment, except if in a lockdown area

Helpful. I've received no text from the very helpful shielding government number Hmm

Wonder if my work are aware and will tell me not to come in.
