Have I booked I test or not?

I managed to get on the site and answer all the questions. I picked a time at the nearest site 30 mins drive away (12 - 12.30) and it came up with 'Save and continue'. I pressed that and it went back to the start. Now there are so slots left.
I am not sure if I booked a test or not?
I got no notifications but is that normal?
Not sure what to do now.

Trying for my 14 year old DS who has been sent home with a cough and temperature.

It should have taken you to a screen with confirmation message and a link to download / print QR code. You should also get the QR code by email. If you don't have these then I think you don't have an appointment unfortunately.

Cheers. Have tried again and it looks like more were released. I got one closer to home at a walk in site.
QR code came through this time.
