Back to level 4

Doesn’t this mean ‘back to lockdown’ according to the original chart? Is this what will be announced tomorrow? To be differentiated from level 5 which is ‘full lockdown’. So major changes to come it seems?

Level 4 I think. I’m trying to find what that actually entails. Does it include no mixing at all or just inside? Schools will continue, wfh home if you can, limit on travel...

Dismal times ahead....

@Hotmilkandhoney & @Whirlwind14

They are just making it up as they go along and they are rewriting the charts to suit themselves on the back of an envelope so I think we all need to wait for tomorrow's briefing for them to come up with the next load of bollocks plan.

I thought they’d abandoned the levels to be honest. We’ve been at level three for ages but have been doing things designated for levels 1 & 2 (like shielding ended etc).
So i doubt it means much. The measures and the levels don’t seem to correlate.

We were apparently at level 4 during lockdown, but this time around it seems they wont be closing businesses or schools, so going to a level 4 is basically meaningless other than to mentally prepare us being told tomorrow to 'go to work, go to the pub, dont let anyone into your sitting room'

Hotmilkandhoney · 21/09/2020 19:36

I think they’re using Level 4 as the basis for what they announce next... so it will gain wider acceptance as we know the level has raised. But agree no one seems to know what it means.
