Shielding

Do you think shielding will return soon? I haven't seen much in the press about it recently. Surely things are getting very risky for medically vulnerable people who are back at work.

@Florianna I’m wondering the same. I was sent a shielding letter & worked from home with no problems for months. Recently since they have been encouraging people back to the office, my employer has asked me to return a couple of days a week. I was alright about doing this until now. I think it is wrong to be encouraging people (particularly the more vulnerable) to go into offices now if they are perfectly able to work from home. Thats what Wales are doing so I’m really hoping it will be the same here very soon.

Sorry not very clear, what I meant was Wales have said wfh if you can.

As furlough ends in October I am expected to return to work in an environment that I cannot socially distanced.
