I’ve done a couple of COVID tests for the study as requested by the research app. I have had no COVID symptoms when I did the tests. They asked me to another test last week. I got and did the test yesterday (Friday) and posted it off. Today I am coughing a little bit. I wouldn’t say it’s a full on cough/persistent cough yet but say it turns into an actual cough tomorrow...
I haven’t got the results back from the test I did on Friday yet (and don’t expect to for several days). Would I isolate and if that test comes back negative go back to work (in a school) or do I need another test done during the time I have active symptoms rather than a day or two before??
I know you are contagious before the symptoms show up so surely it follows that a test would pick it up (if it were there) a day or two before symptoms show...
