Tesco delivery and collection slots

Freeekedout · 19/09/2020 12:05

Just tried to book a collection slot and it won't let me book anything at all within a week of my last collection and then the slots that are available have been reduced to hourly slots, but only every other hour is available. Can't get a delivery before seven days has elapsed since my last booking either.

I wonder if they're trying to get ahead of the panic buyers and high demand, making the system fair for all?

It’s been that way since about April I think, you can only get one delivery per seven days and only 90/95 items I think . They’ve upped prices too on slots unfortunately .

I have delivery saver and don’t have these restrictions at the moment. I did have the 1 slot a week limit for a couple of months but it’s not been in place for quite a while

Same as PP I have delivery saver which was restricted for a while but now back to normal.

Slots seem to be filling up a bit more but still plenty available and lots of click and collect too.

I probably should look at getting a delivery saver! We are happy to go and collect though, but now they've introduced a collection fee it works out cheaper to get a delivery. We buy a fair amount each week but I haven't hit a 90 item limit since April / May. I'd be surprised if this has been in force all that time, I'm sure I would've exceeded 90 items!

No problem here still. (SE). What area are you in?

@lesbihonest - where abouts are you?

I have no idea if there's an item limit, I haven't hit it since April if there is.

But I could get a delivery every day if I wanted (but only one).

TESCO has been brilliant throughout.

Ocado has been good as well, but now they're no longer with Waitrose they're not so good for me, but I'll keep paying for the midweek pass (only £1.50 a month!!!) over the winter.

Waitrose still has a £60 minimum for delivery at the moment and I just don't need that much as well as a a Tesco delivery - which I'm NOT messing with!!).

North of Scotland - we seem to be slow to get back to normal with everything !
