Wedding December 2020

I changed my wedding from July 2020 to December 2020 due to Covid.
It is a meal and then evening reception with 150 people.
Do people think there is any chance it will still go ahead?

I don't have a crystal ball but if I were putting a bet on i would say not with 150 people no.

No I would imagine that was almost certainly not going to be allowed.

Can you postpone to next summer? Sorry op. I know someone who postponed to December. It was their third go. :( Winter is never going to be great with a virus unfortunately.

No I don't we have had an o2 concert cancelled but I would change sorry to hear this

Thank you all, I was thinking the same thing to be honest.
I think we will either change it to something small (and hopefully that could go ahead) or just wait until next summer.
Hopefully all of this will be over soon :(

I'm sorry. We only had 65 guests but we almost did the same when ours got cancelled in May.

Instead we had 26 people in August. It was different but lovely and I'm so, so glad we did it. It was a lovely day, we've got great memories, and the relief of not constantly having it on my mind has been massive. We're still debating whether we'll celebrate our first anniversary with a bigger party for people who couldn't come as well etc or not, but it's there as an option if we want it.

Have a good talk to your other half and see what you'd prefer. I think if you heart is set on 150 people, you might have a bit of a wait
