I had a baby at the beginning of lockdown and as things are starting to ease off I’m trying to go out a bit more but baby will not settle with anyone except for me, even his dad. Anyone else finding this to be the case and know what I can do to stop the problem getting any worse?

I don’t think it’s covid related. My kids were both like that for a long time - 18 months - 2 years old. They are 6 and 4 now and are generally fine with others but have a very strong attachment .

DS is a bit older at 15 months but at one point had spent nearly a third of his life in lockdown (I'm not in the UK). It's caused some real issues with his social skills around anyone but me and DH. I've signed him up to as many classes as we can manage now and just hope they don't get canceled again. I think things will improve with time or at least hope they will.

Thank you, this is my concern, his whole life has been in lockdown and only been held by a couple of people and worried about going to classes due to Covid so not sure how to help? do I start to leave him more with grandparents or just ride It out and hope it’s a phase?
