I've just seen an article stating Lancashire is set to go into lockdown next week!!! Nooooo!!! Has anyone heard anything about this or know if there's any truth behind it?
I feel like I'm about to have a panic attack!
I'm based around Lancaster and our figures have been stable/low for a long time!

It doesn't matter if your figures are low, lockdown again wether it's necessary or not.

From what I’ve read it’s not lockdown as such, but rather a total ban on households mixing even in restaurants, gardens or anywhere outdoors.

An announcement at 11am tomorrow has also been mentioned.

Hope so. Don’t quite understand why NE is when infection rates here in the NW are higher.

Lockdown is an exaggeration. Stricter limits is more accurate.

I’m just south of Lancaster and haven’t heard anything. Where did you hear it OP?

I feel so sorry for my sister and not sure if there's any options for her! She's on mat leave and has a 4 year old and a 6 month baby. Her husband works 6am and doesn't get home until 6pm most nights so she's in her own 5 days a week with the two little ones! Her mental health was massively impacted last time.
I live with my parents currently with my little ones as my husband left us in Jan. it's so hard for her to see us all together. I just don't know how she will cope and I'm worried! We can't even go for a walk together for potentially months :(

@Imissmoominmama it's been reported by 5 live! I was so shocked to see we were included!

I’ve just seen it on Lancashire Live 🙁. No curfew though. Parts of Blackpool have escaped too- I wonder why?

"Don’t quite understand why NE is when infection rates here in the NW are higher."

We get our announcement tomorrow. The Merseyside one is going to be similar to Lancashire. No mixing outside of support bubbles and 10pm curfew, according to the Liverpool Echo.

I think they want to keep Blackpool open because of the lights. They can't afford the loss of revenue.

@november90, you can go for a walk with her, if it's to support her MH. Last time people made up the rules, but there was always leeway for support/care.
