No one can get a test in my area. This means we have no further “confirmed cases” In school - so bubbles do not have to isolate. Surely the consequence of this is that schools become incredibly unsafe for anyone vulnerable?

Yes it's very worrying.

EmmaWithTheGreatHair · 17/09/2020 17:49

Yes because people are getting tested who don’t have symptoms! It’s a total disaster really!

Yes because people are getting tested who don’t have symptoms!

This is not the only reason. The other reason is that the government failed to predict the entirely predictable rise in testing demand following the easing of lockdown and the opening of schools.

They promised that schools would have access to tests. It just hasn’t happened.

Does anyone believe the lack of tests is actually down to people being tested who don’t need it? I’m sure there are some, however I think it’s just another way for the government to shift the blame from their mismanagement onto the public.

The government want you to think that, and so do their henchmen. It's bollocks; we nearly all know that.
