Got a text saying positive

Just spoke to a friend who is isolating due to having symptoms.
He booked in for test, turned out he couldn't make it for that day, tried to ring to change the time but couldn't get through so never had the test.
He received a text message 48 hours later saying his results had come back positive!!!
He NEVER had the test!!

This happened to anyone else? Seems a bit strange to me!

@PrayingandHoping totally agree with you. He should have made sure he was able to get to the test centre before booking the test.

@Redcups64 he is staying in, he's been self isolating since having the symptoms.

Don't agree with the positive result if you can't make the test!
That just means the number of positive cases are going up when people are not actually testing positive!
Then lockdown all over again for what?? Positive tests on people that haven't been tested!
