Asked by ZOE to test - isolate after?

If you’ve been asked to test by ZOE as part of their research study without one of the main three symptoms, I presume you don’t need to isolate before receiving your results?

It doesn’t make a huge amount of difference either way to me as I work from home and can keep the kids here if needed but I am supposed to go to a friends for lunch tomorrow and would feel a bit Blush if a ‘you’re positive’ text message popped up on my phone mid meal.

And yes, the rights and wrongs of non symptomatic people taking up tests at this time can be debated here or elsewhere, but I’m sure they will use the research data wisely.

No you don’t need to unless you have or develop one if the three main symptoms.

Thanks

That’s assuming you can get a test! The Zoe app invited me for a test on Friday but I tried all over the weekend without any luck.

I managed to get a walk in one without too much trouble surprisingly. I did try for a home test first thing and they went within seconds as I tried to add DH too.
