When babies have their jabs

and the big side effect is a temperature (mine have always had one after a jab), I'm guessing you still have to test? Even if you haven't been anywhere else? 🙈🙈

Argh! So in this case except to have to isolate 2 weeks post jabs as no tests.

How do you even test for a baby?

If you picked up covid at the doctors, you wouldnt have a temperature later that day. Symptoms take at least 5 days to show. I definitely would not test or isolate for fever after vaccinations in a 1 year old or younger.

I defo won't isolate when DD gets her fever from her jabs
Its literally what happens with the jabs and will make people delay them if they have to isolate

Showed this thread to GP in our house and he rolled his eyes a lot. OP, use some wit and common sense please.

Fever, coughing, change to taste/smell - yes, test away. But not if you can trace straight back to fever being from jabs.

Sweet of you to want to err on the side of caution, but be sensible about it.

Definitely have a look at past threads on here about reactions to 1 year jabs being delayed and being a week or so later, hopefully doesnt happen to you!
